Measure the box before you pick a size
A sticker that crosses a fold or a curved edge behaves differently from one on a flat lid. Hold a paper cut-out at the size you want against the real box first.
- 2 × 2 in
- A round or square seal, or a small mark on a cup or bag.
- 3 × 2 in
- Wide enough to close a box lid or carry your name and a short line.
- 4 × 4 in
- A bigger panel, for a box or bag with a large flat side.

What are packaging stickers used for?
Sealing pastry boxes and paper bags, putting your name on plain packaging, adding a thank-you or QR code to delivery orders, and giveaways tucked into the bag.
What's the smallest order?
25 stickers. Your order page offers 25, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000. Self-serve orders go up to 20,000 per design. Over 20,000, email us at matt@stickersidekick.com. The price changes with size, shape and quantity.
What size should a packaging sticker be?
Measure the flat part of the box or bag and decide what the sticker is for: a small seal, the main mark on the package, or a giveaway. 2 × 2, 3 × 2 and 4 × 4 inches are good places to start, but the package decides.
Will a sticker hold a box or bag shut?
It can, but how well it holds depends on the box's coating, the fold, and how the box is handled. Try one on your real packaging before you rely on it to keep a box closed.
Can I use a design I already have?
Yes. Upload your file, set the size, and check the proof before you order.
Are packaging stickers waterproof?
It depends on the finish, the surface and what they go through. If they'll face water, the fridge, grease or the outdoors, tell us before you order.
