How we check our guides
Sticker Sidekick publishes product pages and practical guides. This page explains how we keep what's true today apart from starting-point advice, what a review date means, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
Checked by Sticker Sidekick.
What we check before publishing
- How things work
- We check each guide against what the site actually does today. We don't describe a planned feature as available.
- Prices and minimums
- Example prices come from the same calculator checkout uses. The price on your order page is the one that counts.
- Printing claims
- We match the copy to our print specifications and terms. Where two sources disagree, the guide makes the smaller claim until we confirm it.
- Sizes
- Sizes are starting points, not guaranteed fits. We ask you to measure and test the real, filled package before you order.
- Customers
- We never invent testimonials, results or customers. We publish named work, images and quotes only with permission.
What a guide can't tell you
How a label holds up to water, oil, the fridge, the outdoors or soaking depends on the package, the surface, the conditions and how it's applied. A guide can't replace a test on your own product.
Sticker Sidekick doesn't give legal, regulatory or food-labeling advice. You're responsible for required statements, claims, warnings, nutrition information and local rules.
What a review date means
A page's date changes only when we actually re-check its claims, examples or sources. Publishing a new version of the site doesn't make a guide newer, so a page that hasn't changed keeps its old date.
Software we use
We use software, including AI tools, to build the product, draft and sketch. Anything a tool generates isn't treated as evidence. Every claim we publish has to trace back to how the product works today, a source, a calculation anyone can repeat, or real evidence we have permission to share.
We sell what we write about
These guides are published by Sticker Sidekick, which sells the design and printing described on this site, and they link to our order pages. We don't present paid placements, design concepts or unverified customer work as independent endorsements.
Corrections
If a price, a feature, a size, a material or a source looks wrong, email matt@stickersidekick.com with the page and the exact sentence. We'll check it and fix the page, or explain why it stands.
